About Us

Serviette is a hungry universe, both online and in print, where the past, present and future of food collide.

Serviette examines food as a cultural system. It affects how we gather, design and build cities, sustain communities, remember the past, and imagine the future. Our magazine, newsletter and social media bring these ideas to life through irresistible storytelling, eye-catching design, and thoughtful contributors, to explore food’s journey from seed to stomach (and even out into space). Serviette captures the best sort of dinner-party conversation: wide-reaching, digressive, and wildly informative and entertaining.
