The SVA Masters of Branding program centers around exploration and a deep understanding of branding strategy. Instruction focuses on the challenges involved in creating, sustaining and reinventing brands in an ever-changing world.

Manchester

City FC

Our class was approached by the leadership of Manchester City Football Club to devise a brand platform that would position them as the most beloved Premiership club in the US over the next ten years. Inspired by the innovative and independent American spirit, we recommended that MCFC lean into their iconoclastic reputation in order to be the club that definitively changes how football is viewed in America.


The Changemakers brand platform was selected as the winning proposal, which allowed us to pitch directly to City Football Group COO.

Winning Pitch

Hasbro Inc.

Legacy brands are constantly struggling to keep pace with contemporary culture while remaining authentic. Our group was tasked with updating and enriching the storied Hasbro toy brand, with particular attention to be paid to the topic of gender.


Through a strategy rooted in the current financial realities of the toy industry, our group proposed that Hasbro embrace their legacy of empowering the creativity of youth to become the ultimate Champions of Play.
